A new app created in partnership with the Warhol Museum teaches users the famous painter’s process, while processing photos on cellphones. In a world where everyone can be famous at anytime, Warhols most-famous quote makes more sense than ever when applied to technology like this: "In the future everybody will be world-famous for fifteen minutes," he said. We're all virtual Warhols now, in practice and in product.

The creators of the app explain the learning process here as such:

“Crop. Expose. Underpaint. Share. And print a virtual silkscreen. While you’re at it, meet artists and curators from The Warhol who demonstrate silkscreen printing and give you inside information on Warhol and his art. Learn more about The Andy Warhol Museum and connect with us all over the web.”

Check out a video of the app in action above and visit the Warhol Museum website for more information and other Warhol-related apps.
