At the "Yeezus Tour" show in Las Vegas last night, Kanye West went on an amazing fashion-related rant while decked out in all Maison Martin Margiela. The 10 minute stream-of-consciousness interlude touched on everything from the legendary street style photo from Paris Fashion Week in 2009 to the recent controversial racial profiling that allegedly occured at Barneys New York. A clearly impassioned Kanye also mentioned that he can break the Internet whenever he wants, perhaps an allusion to his A.P.C. collaboration that crashed the label's site when the clothes went on sale.
As we did, Yeezy pointed out the prescient similarities between his lyrics in "New Slaves" and the events that went down recently at Barneys and involved the NYPD. After almost nearly every line in the 10 minute rant, the crowd went wild. Whateve emotion Kanye was feeling was obscured by one of the four couture masks from Maison Martin Margiela.
