The Sagrada Família Cathedral (Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família), a Roman Catholic church in Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882 and will not be completed until the year 2026. For the generation of people who will probably be dead or too old to know or care what it is by then, the cathedral has created this computer animation to show what the church will look like in 13 years. The one-minute video uses helicopter footage as well as computer graphics to create a 360-degree timelapse that is one moody song away from being the opening credits to the popular television show Game of Thrones. Watch below and try not to hum the tune:
