Tottenham Goes Mod With 2013/14 Uniforms

The boys at White Hart Lane hit the field in new '60s styled kits.

Today in London, Tottenham Hotspur unveiled the clubs latest home and away kits. For the 2013/14 season, White Heart Lane will be abuzz with nostalgia—the fresh Under Armour design pull design details from the 1960s.

Accented bespoke Cadet Blue, the white home jersey features the darkest blue the team has ever worn. Blue shorts and socks pay tribute to the kits worn during the successes of the '60s. When away, Tottenham will wear an energetic Capri blue from head-to-toe.

The new Under Armour kits weigh just 3.8 ounces, and have the distinction of being the quickest drying uniforms ever produced by the Baltimore-based brand. The shirts are also embedded with UA's patented HeatGear technology, ensuring players remain cool and fast even in harsh conditions.

The 2013/2014 season marks the second in Under Armours relationship with Tottenham. A marked improvement from the maiden effort, it's clear from the sophomore offerings that the brand will keep true to the club's traditions while offering a fresh take on the traditional color schemes.

The home and away kits, as well as the goalkeeper uniform, goes on sale August 10, 2013. A third kit will launch later this summer.
