If you only know one curator, it should probably be Hans-Ulrich Obrist. The Swiss-born curator is a director at the Serpentine Gallery in London, and he started The Interview, a documentary project that records conversations with artists, scientists, philosophers, and performers. Not only that, but we're obsessed with his Instagram.
For his Instagram, Obrist asks artists to write down a quote, which he then photographs. It's like a mini, Digital Age version of The Interview. Gallerist tipped us off that Obrist had snagged a written quote from Kanye West. In the image above, Kanye writes, "Good taste is a gift, but bad taste is a privilege." We wonder what Helmut Newton would think. Our favorite part is Kanye's doodle of himself in the mask he was photographed in for the New York Times.
