Streetwear culture—when it's at its core and best—successfully translates the thoughts and ideas of the youth. Not every brand needs to be run by someone who is young and hip, but it helps. Anwar Carrots is one of the 25 most influential people under the age of 25 in the streetwear world, and he's starting to take Peas & Carrots International to the next plateau. It also helps when you work with rapper Casey Veggies and Joshton Peas, too. Following the success of its New York City pop-up shop, PNC has recently opened the doors to its Los Angeles retail operation.
To ensure the success of the launch, the brand hooked up with some of the most prominent names in L.A. streetwear for a handful of T-shirt collaborations. Included in the collection are tees co-designed with The Hundreds, Diamond Supply Co., Crooks and Castles, and US Alteration. If you're in L.A. swing through the shop at 311 N. Edinburgh Ave. for a chance to cop.
Take a look through images to see the opening of the shop as well as the T-shirts included.
