The Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (MAM) have announced that they will be holding their very own Keith Haring retrospective on April 19. They will be honoring the legendary artist with a sizable amount of his paintings--almost 250 on canvas, tarpaulin, and from subway walls. Twenty monumental works will also be on display. Haring often worked and exhibited in Paris, making the city a wonderful place for the show. It will be one of the biggest retrospectives for the iconic artist who often tackled controversial subjects in his works, such as religion and the ’80s AIDS epidemic.
