An underground complex of nine reinforced concrete tunnels has been discovered by a group at the cultural authority in Italy's Lazio region. The team found the structures while restoring Medieval Palazzo Venezia which once housed high ranking clergy members and Venetian ambassadors. Apparently dictator Benito Mussolini constructed the passageways underneath his office as a hideout when the course of war caused outcry in the public.
