Apple's new "spaceship" campus is seriously over budget. Apple Campus 2's cost has reportedly risen from $3 billion to almost $5 billion over the last two years. Apple is trying to work with British firm Foster + Partners, who is designing the campus, to alleviate some of the crippling expenses.

The campus in Cupertino, California has experienced expensive delays in its construction.Bloomberg Businessweek reports that at the price of nearly $5 billion, Apple Campus 2 would be more expensive than the World Trade Center complex currently being built. The move-in date for Apple's building is now slated for 2016.
