51-year-old Israeli photographer Nadav Kander has been dubbed "The Renaissance Man" by TIME Magazine. The photographer's most recent collection Bodies explores the human form in both a modern and classical fashion. Kander pays homage to fine art of the past while reworking the modern understanding of the nude form.

Make no mistake about it—Kander is not a stranger in the world of photography. He recently photographed President Barack Obama for TIME Magazine's 2012 Person of the Year Issue and his work has long focused on classic portraiture. This stray from the norm is applauded, and we all look forward to Kander's next moves.
