Beer Label Design Gets Experimental

First We Feast brings the best new graphic treatments in booze.

Beer labels are getting more experimental. Gone are the days of simple typographic treatment or psychedelic illustration. Magic Hat is a great example. The Vermont-based brewer has stuck to a tried-and-true narrative style for a significant time. However, with Rooty von Ginger, the brand gets a refreshed look and gives us a fun twist on Belgian-style IPAs.

To Øl takes to the information superhighway for its Tumblr inspired gem. "Fuck Art This is Advertising," and a whole bunch of random animals on a label. Terrapin is more beer-traditional, but still forges ahead with strong conceptual graphics.
