New French design label La Chance debuted the Stockholm-based Note Design Studio penned Tembo and Bolt stools at last months Salone del Mobile in Milan. The brand's first collection is about good and evil, or Jekyll and Hyde, in which everything is prepared in opposing finishes. There are dark versions and lighter, natural tones.
The Tembo stool is a stackable wood, metal, and cork seat with ideas pulled from African tomtoms. The Bolt is a simple stool prepared with four cylinders of solid wood, and is useful as a side table as well.
