Guardian, an inventive design by HOOJON Lim, proposes a new safety measure for pedestrian crosswalks. Employing laser beams, Lim suggests a series of virtual gates providing a visual reference more apparent than a simple green man. The gates also function on the driver side, which alleviates (hopefully) fear of a rolling car while crossing the road.
