Self-taught artist Tiffany Bozic travels extensively to some of the world's most remote places. She also likes to roll her sleeves up in the library—studying specimens at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. Her interests emerge on panel through meticulous renderings of animal and plant subjects. However, she's not a strict nature painter. Bozic's work explores themes related to her personal experience, recasting nature as fable.
Bozic's latest paintings make up Transformation, her second solo showing at Joshua Liner Gallery.
Transformation runs November 1 to December 1, 2012
Joshua Liner Gallery, 548 West 28th Street, 3rd Floor, New York
