The First Internet Cat Video Film Festival

Because they deserve it.

None

The Walker Arts Center of Minneapolis took the lead in starting the first ever Internet Cat Video Film Festival, and not only that, anyone can vote. It takes place August 30th, 2012. Creator of the festival, Katie Hill, says,

“…cat videos are normally viewed alone. Until now. As Walker Open Field’s Cat-lady-in-Residence (just kidding, that’s not a real position…yet), I could not be more excited to literally bring this solo cat video viewing behavior out in the open…Let’s transform this singular small screen viewing experience into a shared celebration with the larger-than-life projection of these silly clips out on the Open Field.”
