The late Keith Haring, a highlight of our 25 Most Important Artists Of 2012 (So Far), kept a journal throughout his 20s and 30s, specifically from 1971-1989. The Keith Haring Foundation has made massive efforts to keep the spirit of his work alive, especially by scanning the journal and posting a page of it a day on Tumblr. We particularly like the page that says,
"To create images that reflect my own spirit more clearly, more precisely. Trust your own taste, don't be so self-conscious."
