Beijing-based Tonghe Shanzi Landscape Design recently discovered a new way to create luxury five-star hotels from recycled shipping containers. The hotel covers 5,000 square meters and includes a total of 21 guestrooms. Taking three months to design and transport, each container includes traditional Chinese interiors, revamped with environmentally-friendly paint.
