New from the folks over at Truman Handcrafted, we get a collaboration with Ebbets Field that creates the first 5-panel cap Ebbets has ever produced since they started peddling baseball nostalgia in the late 80's. We've been loosely following the development on this since our buddy Ping (pictured above, no less) posted some teasers on his blog not too long ago. Available in three styles, the Navy Pinstripe is our favorite, they're a nice change of pace from the standard Ebbets Field collaborations that other brands have had custom-made. The pinstripe wool does a good job of keeping the otherwise modern piece grounded with an old school baseball feel, giving off early 20th century Chicago Black Sox vibes. The natural Horween Chromexel strap is just the icing on the cake, serving as the key detail that shows the quality and craftwork behind the caps, which are now available for an extremely reasonable $49.
