Art Brewer is a legendary surf photographer; his photographs capture not only the action in the waves, but the life beyond the surf as well. SVA’s current retrospective, Art Brewer: Surf Evolution, celebrates the photographer’s work. Curated by photographers Malcolm Lightner and Michelle Mercurio, the exhibition includes over 150 images from Brewer's archive, made from the mid-1960s to the present.
