Last year, a struggling Amy Winehouse hung up the phone with her father after informing him that the troubled songstress had just painted a collaborative art piece with Pete Doherty drawn from her own blood. The piece was expected to reach as much as $80,000 - $130,000 after the singer's tragic passing last July. Last night, Winehouse and Doherty's artwork fetched $54,5000 at the Cob Gallery in London. A portion of the sales were donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation aimed to directly support those suffering from poor health and drug addiction. Rest In Power Amy! [HuffingtonPost]
