Local artist Trek Matthews and La Pandilla of Puerto Rico took to Atlanta's Cabbagetown Neighborhood recently to produce Living Walls murals. Both have nature themes, but are distinct in application. Trek mixes Aztec and Native American designs, and prepared a bold black, orange, and white work on a cold, concrete background. La Pandilla's intensely detailed work is incredibly time consuming. Their 25-foot wall translates Chinese ink styles to large space and the resulting animal mash-ups are as unique as the technique. Click the thumbs to check out the process of both murals.
