Jack Spade Drops Limited-Edition Bag For The 2012 Armory Show

Just in time for this week's 2012 Armory Show, Jack Spade enlisted artist Theaster Gates to create a limited-edition Dipped Coal Bag. Made of industrial 24-ounce canvas and dipped in black rubber latex, the outer is printed with Gates' Association of Named Negro American Potters logo, while the inside sports the logo for Gates' nonprofit organization, the Rebuild Foundation, which transforms buildings into community art spaces.
