Proof of Concept: When the End of the World Comes, Hopefully They've Built This

Russian designer Lev Britvin conceptualizes an ark structure for all of our post-apocalyptic needs.

Design firms, Art Directors, and students continually create "Proof of Concept" ideas, visual explorations that allow them to flex, and to hopefully get some money to create their dream projects. Lev Britvin is a Russian academic that conceptualized Ark—an apocalypse-proof 2-mile tube shelter. It is built to generate wind, pump heat, and transfer thermal energy into electricity, and can either float on water or be built into land. If it all goes down, we'll be with Lev.
