Amy Stein sees the world through a haunted lens, turning real-life individuals into visual moments. Whether she is shooting kids in Harlem on Halloween or travelers stranded at highway-side breakdowns, this New York photographer is worth checking out. Her most recent series follows a group of female gun advocates and their love of hunting culture. Amy teaches photography at Parsons, The New School of Design and at School of Visual Arts here in NYC, and if you're headed down to Miami for Basel, she'll be showing at Pool Gallery.
