Kenny Moscot 1970-2010

Kenny Moscot, the fourth-generation president of Moscot, the eyewear company that we all know and adore, has passed. The story that began nearly 100 years ago from a pushcart on Orchard street and thrives as the retail icon on the corner of Delancey on NYC's Lower East Side today is an inspiring one. We had the pleasure of talking to Kenny two years ago for our "Cut & Show" video series, and the piece (which you can view above) provides a glimpse into the company's history. His family has requested that all donations made in his honor go to Mobileyes Foundation, a charitable organization that provide basic eyecare services to the underserved citizens of New York.
