Each day, Complex will be releasing new content from the 2010 Style & Design Issue, our annual roundup of the people, products, and ideas pushing our culture. Visit the Style & Design Homepage for more.

Part of Complex's Style and Design package looks at the new style frontiers—the emerging areas that are helping to push global trends. We'll continue to look at Japan for both inspiration and cultural influence, but as the world shrinks, the spots we're checking for are going beyond that little island in the East. Yesterday we checked in with Mr. Tony Magnetic, the Hong Kong man about town, for his HK Top Ten list, and today we're putting up Kevin Poon's take on the city. Hong Kong is making moves on the trend front, and Kevin's JUICE stores and CLOT brand play a major role in the movement of the city's trends to the global audience. Hit the jump for Kevin's list of 10 things you should be up on coming out of Hong Kong...

1. JUICE
Kevin Poon says: "JUICE is where we sell our brand CLOT clothing, along with all the flyest gear in the region: adidas ObyO Kazuki, Medicom Toy, Opening Ceremony, PAM, Original Fake, White Mountaineering etc. We started with one store in Causeway Bay, [the equivalent of the Lower East Side in NYC] and have ventured into Taiwan, Shanghai, and Malaysia. For our sixth year anniversary, we are opening a new flagship in the center of CWB, so stay tuned..."

2. CLOT
Kevin Poon says: "My partner in crime Edison Chen and I started with our retail shop JUICE and soon after we ventured into our own brand, CLOT. We have collaborated with Nike, adidas, Reebok, Visvim, Original Fake, Levi's, Neighborhood, Bape, etc. We also have a spin-off PR & Events company, CLOT PR & Events, which consults on brands like Coach, BlackBerry, Sony PSP, Lacoste, Levi's, Moet & Chandon, and Pepsi." clotinc.com

3. CAMERA CULTURE
Kevin Poon says: "Ever since HF put me on to taking photos, I have been really into everything about cameras, from vintage Leica lenses to Leica rangefinders to micro-4/3rd cameras. Hong Kong has a great selection of everything, old and new, and there are many shops in Hong Kong selling vintage Leica lenses. A lot of people are putting vintage lenses onto new-school cameras to create a new effect, which is pretty cool. I am lately into the Ricoh GXR and the Leica M9."

4. WEIBO
Kevin Poon says: "Weibo is China's answer to Twitter, since Twitter is banned here. All the celebrities are on it, and we call it CHITTER (Chinese twitter). Follow me at t.sina.com.sn/kpoon."

Subcrew

5. SUBCREW
Kevin Poon says: "Subcrew is one of the leaders of the subculture, with a focus on hats. "Forever Wrong" is their slogan, and I am with them. They do production for brands like Obey and The Hundreds, so if you need anything done hit them up." subcrewreact.com

6. DREAM HOME (THE MOVIE)
Kevin Poon says: "Dream Home is my homegirl Josie Ho's movie. Josie is the daughter of Stanley Ho (Godfather of Macau), and she is not only talented, but one of the chillest celebrities I know. Dream Home is a slasher horror flick epitomizing Hong Kong culture. Check it out if you want a sneak peek or a glimpse into stressful life in Hong Kong, a.k.a. NY on caffeine."

7. VOLAR / HALO / ROXIE
Kevin Poon says: "There are a lot of clubs that I frequent in Hong Kong, but this buzz conglomerate really runs the night scene in Hong Kong with three very different clubs. They have all the top DJs, and each is members-only style." volar.com

8. MACAU CASINOS
Kevin Poon says: "Macau is the equivalent of Vegas in the East. It's an hour ferry ride from Hong Kong—or a 15-minute helicopter ride if you're balling! They have all the dope casinos, from the Wynn to MGM to Hard Rock to the Venetian, and each is an interesting destination. Everything that you have in Vegas they have in Macau, but the stakes are bigger."

ManisIntheForest

9. DISNEY "MAN IS IN THE FOREST" POP-UP STORE
Kevin Poon says: "This is our first experimental retail collaboration with Disney China. It is a limited-time one year-only pop-up store located in Shanghai, China. The store name, "Man Is In The Forest," comes from the code name when Walt Disney was in the studio, and now Walt Disney is in China, so it's a fit. In the entrance there is a showcase/gallery; go in further and there is a halo product offering, and in the end it is all collaboration products with CLOT x DISNEY. It opened on June 26th, and is only open for 365 days."

TsuiWahRestaurant

10. TSUI WAH
Kevin Poon says: "Tsui Wah is the 24-hour food eatery. You can get anything from wicked ice lemon teas, to sandwiches, specialty rice dishes, and all types of noodles. It's Hong Kong's Cha Chan Ting culture at its finest. It's great after a hard night out on the town." tsuiwahrestaurant.com
