Usually reserved for warmer weather and often dismissed with a snicker as "man capris", it seems that cropped pants have carved a new niche for themselves in the Fall/Winter wardrobes of some style-forward males. We've been spotting these notoriously difficult-to-pull-off bottoms paired with boots on the regular lately, and wanted to get your take. Is this a natural progression of the cuff roll up or the boot tuck? Or is it the bastard seed of unacceptable fugliness sprung from the loins of fashion satan? Vote to hump or dump below...

I said Dump....but I live in Boston....I'll bust out this look when I'm biking on the Phoenician Islands or hiking the Chilean mountains. (I do neither on a regular)
