With its cigar lounge theme, newly-opened Upland, CA sneaker boutique Humidor really lives up to its name. Setting out to share a love of fashion and urban culture, the store's sole proprietor Lorilee Apolinario teamed up with Creative Director/Designer Holden Williams to shape the refined look of the retail space.
Even with the economy in the shitter, Humidor's sneaker and streetwear business is going strong, due to the almost complete lack of stores catering to the urban male within a 30 mile radius. The store carries brands like Crooks and Castles, 10 Deep, and Akomplice, along with rare styles of Nike sneakers and New Era caps. "You usually have to drive to L.A. or Pasadena to get these kinds of brands," says Apolinario. "That's why these vendors were eager to be represented in our store." See more images below...

With all the places where you cannot smoke cigars in California, I suppose having a shoe store with a cigar lounge theme is the next best thing! Good luck guys!

The design is pretty uninspired and frankly very bland. There's nothing unique about the space. Thats about what you get though when a store is in the middle of nowhere.

It is nice joint that Holden is holding down, a welcome sight for sore eyes. Thanks for the Claes, I will be back.
