It didn't take long to get LaVar Ball's thoughts on the diss track Shaquille O'Neal released on Friday. Overtime caught up with Ball to get his thoughts on Shaq's rhymes, and LaVar did not even bother listening to what the Big Diesel had to say. "People still doing diss tracks? Ain't he like 50?" Ball asks. "Who gonna listen to that bullshit?"

Over the beat for "Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)" by Jay Z, Shaq took shots at Ball's mediocre collegiate basketball career ("I've been doing this a long time/When you was averaging two points, riding the pine"), as well as addressing LaVar's claim that he would defeat O'Neal one-on-one ("Sit down man, you be doin' the most/You know your ass is barbeque chicken in the post/First you can beat Mike, then you can beat me/Wake that ass up, you havin' a dream").

Basically going a cappella, Ball fired off some jabs of his own. "He gotta put my name in whatever he's doing...everybody would forget about Shaq," he said. "That's all he is—a shack." Even though LaVar believes O'Neal is simply using him and the Big Baller Brand, he understands the entertainment aspect at play here. "His career has been over for a long time, so now it's time to jump on the Big Baller's coattail," Ball said. "I get it. It's entertainment."

Ball's best one-liner may have come at the end when he suggested that Shaq was a "good rapper," saying, "He's a good rapper, though...for someone who don't like rap." Now the ball is in your court, Shaq. Let's see what you want to do.
