During a 52-year span that stretched from 1964 through this past Sunday, the city of Cleveland was shut out of all championship celebrations. So on Sunday night, Cavaliers superfan Paola Bess wasn't going to let anything—including childbirth!—stop her from witnessing history when LeBron James and the Cavaliers took on Steph Curry and the Warriors in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

According to ABC 5 in Cleveland, Bess, who was pregnant with triplets as of Sunday afternoon, went into labor in the middle of Game 7. Most people probably would have responded to it by saying, "OK, game's over, let's hit the hospital," but Bess took a different approach. She did agree to go to the hospital, but on the ride there, she used her husband's phone to watch the game. Then, as she was taken into the hospital in a wheelchair, she noticed that there were only 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter and asked her husband to stop so she could watch the end of the game on TV.

"I want to watch the last 27 seconds," she asked him. "Can we wait?"

Her husband—who is obviously not on the same superfan level as Bess is—said no. But fortunately for her, there was a TV in the room that she eventually gave birth in. It allowed her to catch the tail end of the game as well as the celebration that ensued while she was giving birth.

"I was like yes," she said, "and then the babies, they were moving."

Bess said she "felt bad" for the nurses who were forced to stop watching in order to help her give birth. But the Cavaliers ended up winning the game, which made it memorable for everyone involved.

Bess went on to name her kids LeBron, Kyrie, and Kevin Sarah, Noah, and Alexander. What a story.
