Oh, you thought you'd like to find out what your dog's food tastes like, hmm? You thought it looked kind of tasty and Rufus eats it every day and he's healthy and LOL what's the worst that could happen, hmm?

Please, allow Serena Williams to teach you a lesson about dog food: don't eat it. Especially if it's gourmet dog food that looks like human food. Even if you are one of the most dominant athletes of all-time, this decision will ruin your day.

Serena made this poor decision and documented the experimental aftermath on Snapchat.

Serena is in Rome for the Italian Open (she won her first match Tuesday), and she brought her dog, Chip, along for the trip. She forgot Chip's food, though, so she ordered some sustenance off of her hotel's "doggy menu," which listed soup, salmon, rice, pasta, and chicken among other things. She ordered the salmon and rice for Chip and, lured by its appearance, tried a spoonful herself.

"I'm like, 'What the heck? I'm going to try a piece. It looks good,'" Serena said. "So I ate a spoonful. Don't judge me, I ate a spoonful. Let's fast forward two hours. I just ran to the toilet like, I thought I was going to pass out. I mean, it did taste weird. I force-swallowed it. It tasted a little bit like house cleaner ... I don't think it's consumable for humans, and they should've wrote that."

The agony of sickness is clear on Serena's face at the end of the video. Serena, the No. 1 women's tennis player in the world, is scheduled to play Christina McHale tomorrow. Here's hoping she recovers before the match.
