It’s still very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very unlikely that Floyd Mayweather is going to agree to a boxing match with Conor McGregor. Yes, it could help him earn millions upon millions of dollars. And yes, it would probably be an easy payday if you ask any of the boxing or MMA analysts out there who have predicted that Mayweather would destroy McGregor. But if nothing else, McGregor is going to continue to use the hype surrounding the dream fight to keep his own name in the news.

McGregor did it on Sunday by name-dropping Mayweather in the middle of an ESPN interview, and he just did it again by inserting Mayweather’s name into an Instagram post that he put up early Wednesday. The post, which reads like a rap and is directed at McGregor’s haters, includes a bunch of hashtags. And McGregor utilized one of them to steal Mayweather’s “Money” nickname and make it his own:

“What’s Floyd Gonna Do?” Hmmm…If we had to guess, McGregor's IG post might make Mayweather: A) Put up an IG post of his own featuring one of his luxury cars, B) Shoot a video with a ridiculous amount of money laid out in front of him, or C) Go jewelry shopping. Because you know, he is “Money.”

But unfortunately for McGregor, we don’t think it’ll get him to agree to a fight. Sorry!
