There aren’t too many people who can say that they've won a shooting competition against Steph Curry. Hell, Steph’s own dad Dell Curry tried to beat him in a game of HORSE last year—and he got destroyed. But earlier today, Angels pitcher Joe Smith challenged Curry to a game of PIG. And somehow, Smith did the impossible and ended up beating Curry:
OK, OK, so Smith did say that Curry “wasn’t even trying” to win after the game. And if you watch the footage of their game above, it’s pretty clear that Curry could have tried a little harder. But still, a win is a win in this situation! Not many other people can say they've beat Steph Curry in a game that involves shooting a basketball.
Smith wasn’t the only Angels player to record a W against a Warriors player, either. Mike Trout also beat Draymond Green in a game of PIG:
Hmmm…maybe the Warriors are just saving their shots for tomorrow night? Yeah, that’s gotta be it.
