LeBron James played one of the worst games of his 2015-16 NBA season on Monday night. After leading the Cavaliers past the Thunder on Sunday, he scored just 12 points on 5-for-18 shooting and committed six turnovers in a loss to the Pistons. But LeBron claims that his poor play was not the result of anything related to his health.

Reporters asked LeBron, who has only missed one game so far this season, how his body is holding up during a media session earlier today. And he revealed that he’s feeling significantly better this season than he did last year.

“Last year, I was banged up,” he said. “It’s not a mindset, it’s just reality. This year, I feel 10 times better than I did last year. So that’s the mindset.”

LeBron did add that the days of him feeling like he’s 23 are done.

“I guess I’ve played so much basketball, man, feeling great, those days are pretty much over,” he said.

But after watching LeBron sit out 13 games last season, Cavs fan have to be happy to hear that LeBron is still feeling good at this point in the year.
