LeBron James probably wasn’t too happy about his Cavaliers losing to the Spurs on Thursday night, but it didn’t stop him from paying homage to Tim Duncan by dedicating an entire Instagram post to him.
Shortly after Cleveland walked out of the AT&T Center in San Antonio following a 99-95 loss, LeBron jumped on IG to post a message about TD. The two have had a series of battles over the last 10-plus years, including three matchups in the NBA Finals. So LeBron took a few moments to show love to TD and to let everyone know that he thinks the Spurs great is “the greatest PF to ever play this game.” Here’s the post:
Duncan hasn’t responded to LeBron yet because, well, LOL at the thought of him using Instagram. The Spurs did re-post LeBron’s message, though, and we’re sure the feeling is mutual.
