Ravens Rookie Carl Davis Gets Stuck Paying $11,561 Dinner Bill

Ravens rookie Carl davis gets stuck paying $11,561 dinner bill

NFL rookies getting stuck paying outrageous dinner bills for their teammates is nothing new. Mike Davis of the 49ers was once on the hook for more than $1800, and a few Redskins rookies treated the veterans to a meal that totaled more than $22,000.

Carl Davis of the Baltimore Ravens was the latest victim of this tradition, and posted a receipt of a rookie dinner he was at least partially responsible for which came in at over $11,500.

It's unclear if Davis was the only one who had to contribute, but either way, he can certainly afford it. The third round draft pick signed a four-year deal worth $2.95 million in advance of his first professional season.
