The last time Shaquille O’Neal took to Instagram to try and start an NBA debate, the Internet almost burned down.
OK, maybe things didn’t get that crazy. But when he suggested that the five best Lakers players of all time would beat the five best Bulls players of all time by 50 (!), things got heated amongst NBA fans—and Shaq and Scottie Pippen actually went to war on social media over it.
Last night, Shaq tried to jumpstart a similar debate about which NBA generation is the best. And while it hasn’t generated the kind of reaction that his Lakers/Bulls Instagram post did, it did start some arguments amongst the Complex Sports staffers this morning.
So we figured we would pose the question to you: Which NBA generation do YOU think is best?
