Warning: Ronda Rousey Is Going to Kill the Next Person Who Calls Her Fat

She probably won’t have to worry about following through on this.

Even though she’s the most popular MMA fighter on the planet right now—and even though she could kick just about anyone’s ass—Ronda Rousey still has her fair share of critics. Earlier this year, she addressed all those people who suggest that her body is “masculine” during an interview that was later used by Beyoncé during her Made in America set. And in a new New York Times feature on Rousey, she also says that she’s not going to stand for people who refer to her as fat.

Now, just to be clear: No one has actually used the F-word to Rousey’s face recently. But prior to shooting a commercial recently, someone said something “really rude” to her about her appearance. So she purposely came in to shoot the commercial a few pounds heavier than she had planned and, while speaking with the Times, she said that she has a plan in place just in case anyone else wants to criticize her weight.

“I swear to God,” she said, “if anyone calls me fat one more time in my life, I’m going to kill them.”

She's just kidding (we think!). But still, it'd be a good idea for you to be nice to Rousey if you ever speak to her. As if we really need to tell you that.

In the rest of the Times piece, Rousey speaks at length about feeling comfortable with her body and doing photo shoots that she wouldn’t have agreed to do as a teenager. She actually discusses her plan to change the perception of women in Hollywood. You can check it out here.
