Up until recently, the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws used a logo that looked very similar to the Steelers logo while doing business. The weed advocacy group sold T-shirts with the logo on it, slapped the logo on signs, and used the logo to try and further their brand. But now, they’re being forced to come up with a new logo because the NFL sent them a cease and desist and told them that they can't use the logo anymore.

This statement was pasted on the Pittsburgh NORML’s Facebook page early yesterday morning:

Well, all good things must come to an end. The National Football League has sent us a "cease and desist" letter relative to our take on the hypocycloid.

The good news is that Pittsburgh NORML already has one solid idea in place for their new logo. “Maybe [steel industry pioneer] Andrew Carnegie holding some weed,” they told TMZ Sports. Sounds like a winning formula to us!
