During Wednesday's contest between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, a fan in attendance was taken away on a stretcher after "flipping over backward trying to catch a foul ball," according to the New York Daily News.
The fan was standing in the last row of the lower box seats when the incident took place in the 7th inning. After reaching for the souvenir ball, the person crashed into the concrete walkway separating the lower and upper level boxes. There is no further word on the fan's condition at the moment.
