A father promised his daughters that if they sank a hole-in-one on the golf course, a new puppy would be theirs.
One of them did just that, on a 105-yard hole at the Clear Creek Golf Centre in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
While this could have been an elaborate hoax of some kind (because, you know, this wasn't a professional broadcast where we get to follow the trajectory of the ball and see it roll into the cup), the reactions seem genuine enough to where we'll take it for what it appears to be.
The father immediately screaming "NOOOOOO!" once he realized what had happened was the best part, although it's not like he's making some great sacrifice. Puppies, after all, are free. If the odds against this happening are truly 12,500 to 1, then this little girl got a fairly pedestrian reward for achieving something that was seemingly so far out of reach.
