Earlier this month, former Spurs guard Cory Joseph—who was drafted by San Antonio in 2011 and won a title with the team in 2014—decided to take his talents to the Raptors. And while most people didn't bat an eye when the Pickering, Ontario native signed a four-year, $30 million deal with Toronto, it seems Drake took notice.

On "Charged Up," the track that Drizzy dropped on his Beats 1 radio show OVO Sound today, Drake gave one of his most random sports-related shout outs ever when he name-dropped Joseph in the middle of the song.

"We gon' make sure you get your bread and you know the ropes," Drake raps, "I get a ring and I bring it home like I'm Cory Joe."

Yo, already?! The ink isn't even dry on his contract yet! We weren't the only ones who caught the "Cory Joe" reference, either:

I see you @Drake with the @spurs and @Cory_Joe shoutout. #hardware
