Ah, the age old debate of Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James. Though we can only speak in hypotheticals since the two never graced the court at the same time, much less in their primes, I'll be damned if it isn't fun to get in to some good natured arguing over who's better. Each point has a counter point. MJ has six rings, but LeBron has done more with inferior teammates. LeBron is a force going to the basket, but he never had a jumper like Jordan's. You could go on and on like this.

This exact argument was recently had by two men in State College, Pennsylvania, except instead of the debate ending with a simple "whatever dude, you're an idiot," in came to its conclusion when one of the men physically assaulted the other. Daniel Mondelice, a Jordan stan, got pretty heated when his roomie announced he was Team LeBron at 3:49 a.m. Saturday night, which is always the best time for intelligent banter. To let him know there would be no MJ slander in his household, Mondelice attacked him.

A debate over who is the best basketball player of all time, LeBron James or Michael Jordan, became heated early Saturday morning, and resulted in felony charges of aggravated assault and criminal trespassing for a State College man.

At 3:49 a.m. Saturday, Daniel Mondelice, 22, and his roommate began the argument at their Calder Commons apartment, 520 E. Calder Way, the State College Police Department said.

After physically assaulting his roomate, Mondelice was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault, police said.

Police told Mondelice that he was not to return to his apartment after his arraignment, except briefly with a police escort to gather his things, police said.

Safe to say Mondelice will be moving out. Let's hope his next roommate is a Chicago Bulls fan.
