Remember this clip from Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" which showed Floyd Mayweather struggling to read a "drop"? Now, even though Mayweather's publicist Kelly Swanson shared a video of the 38-year-old boxer reading scripted lines given to him while taping promotional spots for his fight against Marcos Maidana, proving that he can read, people still had their doubts. Since then, discussion regarding this topic has been pretty silent with jokes peppered in here and there.
On Friday, Showtime released the first episode of Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. In addition to giving some background about how this fight came to be, there was this interesting moment at around the 8:45 mark.
They show us a clip of Mayweather reading from a Teleprompter. But he's only reading five words.
1.
After getting some congratulations for his work. Floyd decided to brag about...reading off the Teleprompter!
2.
Then, Mayweather threw what appears to be some shade at Pac-Man
3.
But that was short-lived because Floyd went back to bragging about his Teleprompter skills.
4.
5.
Now listen, Champ. We respect the talent in the ring, but stop with all that "I'm quick with that Teleprompter" talk and then bashing Pacquiao. Do we need to bring that video up again?
