When Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally agreed to fight one another on May 2, your response was probably a "YES!!!!!" followed by a "Now, if only we could go back in time five years and have them fight in their primes." Because while the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight will no doubt be great, it's hard not to wonder what might have happened if they had agreed to a match five years ago. It's why we made a strong case for Mayweather and Pacquiao being "washed" recently.

Dana White thinks the same thing. Even though he's had his issues with boxing in the past, he's excited to see the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight. But at this point, he does wish that it had taken place back in 2010.

"Damn, I wish this happened five years ago," he told ESPN recently. "I wanted to see the fight five years ago."

That's not going to stop him from trying to score some tickets to go see it, though.

"I just made the call today to try and get a bunch of tickets to go to that fight," he said. "It's the fight to go to. It's the fight everybody's been waiting for. I just wish we could have saw those two fight in their prime."

So do we, Dana. So do we.

A few days ago, White also picked who he thinks is going to win the fight. You can see him make his prediction here:
