Those who are lucky enough to be attending Super Bowl XLIX this year will have more than just a chance to watch the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks duke it for league supremacy.
As is tradition with's America's football holiday, there will be a whole host of activities and shenanigans to take part in during the lead-up to the game, including Super Bowl Media Day, beer tastings, and various festivals throughout the city.
Included in this year's weekend party is a free Roots concert courtesy of Verizon's Super Bowl Central festivities. On the Pepsi Hyped for Halftime Stage in downtown Phoenix, the Legendary Roots Crew will be treating local hip-hop heads to a taste of Philly's finest. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out.
