After the Detroit Lions lost to the Dallas Cowboys last week due (in part) to a dubious officiating call, you wouldn’t begrudge them seeing the brutal irony of those same Cowboys being on the receiving end of an equally unfortunate call today.
That is indeed what happened, as Dez Bryant’s incredible 4th and 2 catch was overruled and the Cowboys never got the ball back. First, it was the Lions’ Twitter account that commenced the chirping:
