From personal scandals to poor performances on the green, Tiger Woods has gotten enough bad press for an entire lifetime. But what he did this week deserves all the praise in the world.
Tommy Morissey was born without a right arm from the elbow down, and while his parents feared the worst as far as having a normal life, Tommy seems to be doing just fine. Tommy is only three years old, but he can already hit a golf ball upwards of 70 yards with just one arm. Even more amazing, Tommy hits the ball with his left arm, while in a righty stance.
Tommy, who first garnered national attention back in August, spent this week at the Hero World Challenge in Orlando, where he was surprised on the green by his own hero, Tiger Woods.
The two talked a little shop, hit a few balls, and reminded us all that a positive attitude can take you so far in life.
