Uber is doing anything and everything in its quest for world domination of the personal transportation business. Remember, that includes completely screwing over other competing companies. But today the company announced something that's actually a positive for them, without being super shady: UberX Prices have been cut by 20 percent, making an UberX ride officially cheaper than an NYC taxi. Uber listed these comparisons as proof:
Apparently, these prices are not permanent, but rather a limited offer, so don't expect it to stay like this. And remember, these prices are always subject to price gouging.
