It was impossible for the Miami Heat to replace LeBron James at the small forward position, but they got themselves a nice, little consolation prize in Luol Deng, who just reportedly agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract. The signing of Deng may come as a surprise to some folks because back in January, the 29-year-old rejected a three-year, $30 million extension deal from the Chicago Bulls. At the time, Luol wanted to test the market where he felt as though he was valued in the $12-13 million per year range.

Now Deng, who averages 16 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in his career, is now part of the what will become the new Heat Big 3 which will consist of newly signedChris Bosh and most likely, Dwyane Wade. Does this Miami squad show signs of being playoff-bound next season?
